عد قطاع النقل بفروعه وانشطته مكوناً مهماً من البنية الاساسية للاقتصاد الوطني وركيزة أساسية للتنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية الشاملة في أي بلد؛ نظراً لما له من تأثير على القطاعات الاقتصادية الاخرى مثل قطاع الصناعة، وقطاع التجارة، وقطاع السياحة وغيرها من القطاعات الاقتصادية. ولا يخفى على أحد أن توفر شبكات حديثة ومتكاملة للنقل بوسائطه المختلفة: (بري، بحري، جوي) يمثل عاملاً مهماً في تحديد مواقع واتجاهات الانشطة الاقتصادية المختلفة، فهناك علاقة قوية بين التطور الاقتصادي والاجتماعي لبلد ما ومستوى نمو قطاع النقل كون النمو الاقتصادي يتأثر وبصورة مباشرة بكفاءة قطاع النقل ومرونته.

  


The transport sector branches and activities is considering an important component of the infrastructure of the national economy and  basic for comprehensive economic & social development in any country; because of its impact on other economic sectors such as industry, trade ,and tourism sector and other economic sectors. It is worth to say that  the networks provide a modern and integrated transport  different means by : (Land, sea, air) which  is an important factor in determining the locations and directions of the various economic activities, there is a strong relationship between economic and social development of a country and level of development of the transport sector that is affected by economic growth and directly efficiency of the transport sector and its flexibility.
يعد قطاع الاتصالات تطوراً هاماً للاقتصاد في جميع دول العالم ، وقد ادركت الدولة منذ البداية اهمية مواكبة التطور العالمي في هذا القطاع . حيث شهدت السنوات الخمس عشرة الماضية تحولاً غير مسبوق في قطاع الاتصالات في معظم الاقتصاديات العالمية . وأصبحت الاتصالات الان احد اسرع القطاعات نمواً وتطوراً لاستثمارات القطاع الخاص في العالم كله. كما اصبحت الاتصالات ميداناً رئيساً للاستثمارات الاجنبية .  


Communications sector is an important development of the economy in all over the world, and the government realized that  to keep global development in this sector. It is worth to say ,the last fifteen years an unprecedented shift in the communications sector in most economies in the world. Where contacts are now one of the fastest growth and development for private sector investment in the whole world. Communications  has also become essential feild in the foreign investment.
ويضم هذا الباب توفير مؤشرات احصائية عن تطور النقل البري (بشقيه المسافرين والبضائع) ونشاط الاتصالات والبريد ، كما يشمل ايضاً بيانات عن اعداد ومواصفات السيارات حسب انواعها للقطاعين العام والخاص وكذلك مؤشرات عن حوادث المرور حسب طبيعة وخطورة الحوادث.  


This part provids statistical data on development transport (passengers and goods) and (post, communication), In additional to that data on cars specifications by kinds for general and private sectors and acciedants data by kind of danegrous.
بالاضافة الى تنفيذ المسوحات الاحصائية المتعلقة بالنقل البري والاتصالات.
