The Central Organization for Statistics and Information Technology holds a workshop to put an appropriate plan to count the Iraqi communities abroad in the framework of the general population census that will be carried out in Iraq during the month of next October...

The workshop which will last for three days from Sunday 15 March until Tuesday, 17 March 2009 at Al-Alwiya association hall will be included a presentation of detailed description for the general plan of census of 2009 and discussion of the draft form of abroad communities counting and to develop a plan to limit and count of the Iraqi communities abroad .. The workshop begins at 10:00 am  on the morning of Sunday, March 15, 2009 the opening of workshop contains a speech for the Under-Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Al-Haj Hmmoud, and another speech to the Under-Secretary for Ministry of Planning Dr. Mehdi Al-Alak. In addition to the interpositions and comments of members of supreme body of the population census, who represent a number of ministries who are in the rank of Under-Secretary of Ministry... also will participate in the workshop the representatives of the Kurdistan region.
